Hi Guys!
Happy Monday... :) Hope you all are having a great
day...
I was sitting here a while ago opening mail with one of
those little plastic mail openers and it got me thinking...
That mail opener was one I got in a welcome package
when we first moved here. It has the name of a local
realtor on it. Do you use promotional items like this in
your ad efforts for your scrapbooking businesses? If not,
you should give it a try!
I have kept this little main opener in my desk since we
moved here almost two years ago. Why? Because it is
useful. Would I have kept this company's business card
that long?
Probably not.
Sometimes, using something useful as a promo item
(rather than a business card) can keep your business and
your products on your customer's minds all the time.
Using this approach is more costly than say using a
business card, but in some situations that extra expense
is worth it.
Here is one good source for business promotional items.
This site has everything promotional under the sun!
From mousepads to golf balls, to drink cups, pens, and
just about anything in between - it is a great place to get
ideas for that promotional item that will set your
scrapbooking business apart from the others. This site
even does graphic design and t-shirt printing!
Promo items are great to use for:
* Convention Giveaways
* New customer order add ins
* Customer Incentives (nicer promo items should
be used for this)
* Welcome Wagon Basket Giveaways - see if your
town does these
* Realtor Move In Basket Giveaways (check with
your local realtor)
* Carnival/Fair/Craft event Giveaways
There are LOTS of ways to use these items. Set aside
some of your expense budget and try to use these in a
marketing initiative. You just might be surprised at
the results!
