Just got this news from a message board I frequent:
We are very excited to announce some wonderful news! Ultra*PRO Corp., the parent company of 7gypsies? and other leading consumer products, has acquired the assets of Chatterbox International, LLC. As you know, Chatterbox has been a leading brand in scrapbooking for over 10 years and is known for beautiful, innovative product designs and kits that address the needs of scrapbookers of all interests and abilities. This is such an exciting opportunity, and we are looking forward to bringing you even more beautiful and meaningful products for years to come.
Now that Chatterbox is part of the Ultra*PRO family, we would like to introduce to you Ilene Albert-Nelson, VP of Scrapbooking & Business Development at Ultra*PRO. Chatterbox will now operate under the direction of Mrs. Albert-Nelson, and she has already made a positive impact. Ilene recently said, ?We are very excited to add another premier scrapbooking brand to our portfolio. The combination of Chatterbox with our 7gypsies scrapbooking business places us amongst the leaders within the multi-billion dollar scrapbooking category.? Ilene went on to say, ?We are looking forward to being able to offer an incredible array of new products for both brands at CHA Winter 2008.?
Chatterbox founder, Melody Ross, will continue as the Head of Design for all Chatterbox products and is already hard at work creating a brand new release for CHA Winter 2008. Melody said, ?We are thrilled to be partnering with another leading brand in scrapbooking where we can continue to design fashion-forward yet timeless products to help people all over the world capture their family histories and life?s greatest moments. It?s what we love about this industry.?
Both the Chatterbox and 7gypsies brands will be headquartered in City of Commerce, CA. Our products will continue to be found in leading independent and mass market scrapbooking retailers across the US, Europe, South Africa, Asia, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. We're proud to have been profiled in leading publications including Martha Stewart LIVING, Better Homes & Gardens, Creating Keepsakes, and Making Memories.
This is great news! I was wondering why I hadn't seen any new lines come out from them in a while...
